It all started Back in 1986
Challenger Companies, Inc. was originally founded as Challenger Electric by Jerry and April Brown in 1986 in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. It began with Jerry’s electrical expertise and April’s business acumen. Over the years, their now grown children, David Brown, Beth Thompson, Adam Wright and Jason Wright have all joined Challenger in different capacities within the company. Together, along with their incredibly talented tradesmen, they have built Challenger Companies, Inc. into a company with more than 100 employees, yet never losing that small business feel.
In addition to an electrical and mechanical field crew based in Nampa, Idaho, Challenger also provides a substantial electrical workforce to the Micron Technology campus located in Boise, Idaho.
The Field Division, specializes in new construction and updating water systems, lift stations, and wastewater treatment facilities. In addition, this division is able to provide entire lift station packages for new subdivision developments, as well as installing the pumps, electrical systems, and control systems to facilitate these projects.
Challenger also has a large electrical workforce at the Micron Technology campus which is comprised of both skilled electricians and instrumentation & controls technicians.
